Infravend is an electronic music project and live act featuring young visual artist and producer Dan Fervin, based off beautiful Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2006, Dan began composing his songs, initially experimental and nauseating - inspired by noise and avant-garde music -, only later to become more harmonious, danceable, dynamic songs, but never going completely away from the experimental and the psychedelic. The main idea behind the project was to create a kind of music people could enjoy dancing to at night clubs as well as listening to at their homes and take them on a sound trip of abstract beats, alien melodies and an odd groove. The project has already been invited to create soundtracks to animations, motion design and co-produced the soundtrack for a Brazilian short movie in 2008. There are many different influences in the music Infravend composes - from Kraftwerk to Apparat and from Brian Eno to Aphex Twin, his tracks incorporates many genres in the electronic music field, specially techno, glitch, minimal and house, though never restraining to one style - often mixing everyting in. Infravend is futuristic, retro, ethereal, heavy, mutant and post-modern.
